Growth Mindset Language
A buzz phrase that has often been misunderstood by teachers and administrators. It begins with applying the concepts to oneself and one’s partners. This workshop is research based and includes practice.
Listening for Effectiveness
Participants will analyze their listening habits and practice new techniques for true understanding. Activities include timed mini listening labs, reviewing conversation curtains, using divergent questions, and body language.
Self-Awareness and Self-Management
Understanding the difference between thoughts and feelings is the starting point for communicating your own needs. Participants will self assess, practice I-statements, and learn how to analyze negative spiral thinking.
